Steel White
How do you remove white "soap" spots from stainless steel silverware?
I think some automatic dishwasher detergent got spilled on my silverware, and now after multiple rinses and washes they still look "etched" with white marks. Please help...
Gee, that's a difficult question but if you've repeatedly washed the stainless over and over, if I were you, I would contact the manufacturer of the stainless and tell them just what you told us and ask them if there is any solution to removing this. If they are truly "etched", then that sounds like permanent damage to me. I hope that's not the case. If it's just stains, so to speak, there might be a way to get these removed. I hope so!! Just be sure to contact the manufacturer directly so they know exactly what you're dealing with and can help you. They would be the very best reference for their own product. Who knows, they might send you another set!!! It's worth a try, just to see if you can get this problem resolved. I hope you can. Good luck!!
